Another week gone by. And what a week it was. This is going to be a short letter, as I am short on time. So, without further ado, let’s go.
  • The Poem.
  • Editorial.
  • News about the audio drama.

Every Now

Every now, every then,
We look through the mirror, where
Darkness looms.

Time goes by,
Looking right through.

Red turns white
Darkness becomes light.
The big black bird takes flight.

Hark, a string quartet begins to praise its path,
And laughter erupts in the whole wide world.

There it is, crack by cackling bit,
Happiness swallows me whole.

The first line that came to mind and more or less formed this poem was: When we look through the looking glass / strangeness abides. The line stayed there until the very end, where I changed it, to make it sound less redundant and more eerie. At first, the poem ended on a sad and strange note, but I didn't want the fist poem of 2020 to end that way, so I ended it on a more positive note. The title is, of course, a reference to Arcade Fire

Audio Drama News

Little news, still newsworthy. I found a couple of friends who are willing to write a few episodes. Ha, fools! I'm still figuring out what the exact formula for each episode will look like, but I'm getting close. Last letter, I promised to keep you updated and write about the whole process. I will do so in due time, just a little more patience.

Post Note

On Wednesday, sitting through my education science class, I caught myself writing the wrong date on my notepad. It‘s not easy to shake old habits. With this, I can only advise you to be tolerant with you in these strange and trying times. Every one of you has the potential to change and be magnificent. Because in most ways, you already are.
