WCB Comedy are back at this wonderful venue in the lovely town of Southwold with a real treat of a headliner. BGT's Noel James tore the house down with his hilarious set on the famous prime time ITV show.
This is the 5th Comedy Night at the Pavilion and its proving to be a very popular night. With cheap drinks, ample parking in this friendly venue in the lovely Town of Southwold it is little wonder!

Our opening act Chris Purchase is fresh from being at the top of GQ’s Best 100 Jokes in the World 2018, being a finalist for What’s On magazine’s Best Comedian 2016, 2017 and 2018, and from being a finalist for the Laugh Factory’s international joke of the year 2017. Chris was recently hand-picked to support Reginald D. Hunter on tour and is currently taking the comedy scene by storm with his mix of light hearted anecdotes and cultural satire. After going viral multiple times last year Chris’ popularity has rocketed and you can now see him performing in all of the major UK comedy clubs.

A fantastic new comedy night comes to The Prom Hotel in Great Yarmouth on Friday 6th September. Weird Coastal Buoys’ Comedy, who you might recall brought such awesome acts like Katherine Ryan, Hal Cruttenden, Joel Dommett, Sara Pascoe and Arthur Smith to St George’s theatre, now return to Yarmouth with their marquee opening night on 6th September. Britain’s Got Talent Finalist and top comic Danny Posthill has not looked back since appearing on the prime time ITV show and is now performing headline spots at comedy clubs across the globe and WCB Comedy are proud to announce him as their first headliner at ‘Stand Up On The Prom.’
His Versatile act caters for all walks of life with unbeatable stand up and a string of spot-on impressions such as Jimmy Carr, Billy Connolly, Lee Evans plus many more. His 2019 Edinburgh show is being directed by none other than Bobby Davro a legend of British comedy.
The line-up also includes two acts already known and loved by regulars of previous WCB Comedy shows in Great Yarmouth. Justin Panks and Jason Stampe’s comedy careers are on the up with appearances on national radio, critically acclaimed podcasts and headline spots across the country. Line up also include Trish Dunn who is an amazing American ventriloquist who recently took up residence in Norwich.
