Hate and Live is the show where the comics get to 'hate on' the subjects you choose.
The ever popular panel show Hate n’ Live where your favourite comedians get to ‘hate on’ the topics you suggest returns this Friday. Not only that but we are very proud to announce that this November’s panel sports two amazing headline acts; Tanyalee Davis - the star of Live of the Apollo, John Bishop Show, The Last Leg and headliner of last September’s sell-out show right here at St George’s theatre. As a very sassy little person Tanyalee remarks about herself, “At 3 foot 6 - I’m low to the ground and kind of racy.” She’s not wrong!
Also on the panel is the comedian, presenter and star of cult Channel 4 Show Balls of Steel Mark Dolan. TV viewers will have seen Mark on many oddball telly programmes including the idiotically dangerous ‘The Jump’ and we are now looking forward to him presenting The World’s Greatest Stunts alongside his hero Arnold Swarzenneger.
If that’s not enough of a line up then panel also sees the return of the ever popular Leo Kearse (aka Punman) who has brought the house down every time he has appeared at St Georges. Our compere for the evening is one of our most popular MCs and Talksport regular Justin Panks. Radu Isac, who was the star performer of our new act night completes this superb line up for what promises to be one of the best comedy nights we have had at St George’s.
Meanwhile, the Hate n’ Live panel show continues to sell out across the country after conquering the Edinburgh comedy festival. The show is so popular because it brings out the best and sometimes the darkest sides of comics who are challenged to remark off the cuff about how they hate the subjects drawn out of hat regardless of whether its Marmite, Donald Trump or word peace.
WCB are sad to announce that after over three years of bringing first class comedy and attracting the loveliest audiences on the planet to St George's theatre that the new theatre manager is giving us the old heave ho.
We would like to thank our very loyal and fun loving patrons who have stuck with us. You've all been amazing.
We are proud though that we have brought you such amazing acts as Hal Cruttenden, Sara Pascoe, Catherine Ryan, Arthur Smith, Joel Dommet and oh so many more. We've also seen the best of the up and coming talent in the British and Irish stand up circuit with acts that will surely be in your living rooms soon if they're not already.
We would very much like you to join us on our final farewell which is a return of the ever popular 'Hate 'n Live' show. This time the line up includes the act who previously sold out the theatre for us; Tanyalee Davis. This amazing night, where you get to choose which subjects the acts get to 'hate on' also includes cult TV legend from channel 4's hit show Balls of Steel; Mark Dolan. Leo Kearse, Justin Panks and Radu Isac complete the line-up for this highly charged night where Hate is Hilarious! The show is so popular because it brings out the best and sometimes the darkest sides of comics who are challenged to remark off the cuff about how they hate the subjects drawn out of hat regardless of whether its Marmite, Donald Trump or world peace.
Come and say goodbye and send us out with a bang.
