Merry Christmas from the Move to Learn
Another year passing, and what a year it has been.
In March, we lost our founder, (and my mother), Barbara Pheloung. I'm still reeling from that but it's been a blessing to hear from all of those that my mother's work has touched and I have greatly appreciated the kind support I've received from so many of you.And her vision lives on.At our Sydney conference, we determined to continue as a team to bring Barbara's amazing work to a new generation of children (& adults) around the world.
Our reach is getting ever wider; and our Practitioners are creatively meeting the varying needs.

Welcome to our new Practitioner!!
Jemma is an Early Childhood Teacher with a BA of education. She works as a pre-school teacher in a local school. She is also a provider for The Listening Programme, Intime, and is presently completing her Diploma of Kinesiology.
Jemma developed an interest in learning difficulties when she came to the realisation that her eldest daughter was not developing to her potential and began a journey of finding the 'needle in the haystack'. She began visiting Occupational Therapy based centres and implementing OT strategies in her mainstream classroom. She also did intensive observations at the International Centre for Excellence in Bayswater Perth which caters to both ends of the learning continium in 2010. However the real breakthrough occurred when she met Winsome Richards (Move to Learn in WA) at a Curtin Alumini presentation.
Jemma now works with Winsome, helping with individuals and a small group in the MTL programme running at the not for profit Schools of Kalamunda Motor Programme.
Great to have you on board Jemma!
And we have also a new Trainer - our first in the USA!!
