CSIRO's new senior management structure 

Following the release of CSIRO’s five year strategy, Chief Executive Larry Marshall has reshaped senior leadership ranks by announcing a new, slimmed down senior management structure. Full coverage here.  
 

Work bans continue as offer edges closer

Protected action in the form of selected work bans will continue to apply throughout September as CSIRO senior management finally edge closer to releasing an agreement offer to staff. More information and resources here
 

Ginninderra station sale must not cost jobs

CSIRO management have confirmed moves to explore the rezoning and eventual sale of Canberra’s Ginninderra Field Station. However the Staff Association has warned that any sale and transition to a new site must not cost jobs or research. More here

Use your head and stay protected 

Accidents happen. However, you may not know that you're not covered by workers' compensation during your travel to and from work... unless you're a Staff Association member. Innovation Inquiry interim report

The inquiry into Australia’s Innovation system, currently being conducted by the Senate’s Economic References committee, has released an interim report.
