Three sculptures by Hayden

2nd Annual Meredith Sculpture Walk

For the second year, Hayden's sculptures have been accepted into the Meredith Sculpture Walk in Meredith, NH.
Top:  His new work, located in Community Park on Main Street, is "Lover's Light," a forged stainless steel piece (with blown glass by Alex Kalish Glass Design).
Also invited back for their second year are his solo work: "Spirit's Daughter" (left center) and a collaboration he did with Winnipesaukee Forge's David Little: "Black Sailboat" (left bottom).  "Spirit's Daughter," and "Black Sailboat are both located in Scenic Park on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee.  Map locations for all three are site #3, #28, and #31 (click image to view walking map)
For "Black Sailboat" Winnipesaukee Forge artist-blacksmith David Little created the wrought iron hull and masts. Hayden created the hammered copper sails and stainless steel "riggings." The billowed shape of the sails leaves them responsive to the breezes off Lake Winnipesaukee which slowly move the piece around a central pivot point.
