Note from Leon: I changed the the address format for the newsletter, so it should read your first name (if you provided it at sign up) and prevent emails from going to spam folders.
Let me know if it reads otherwise.
In this issue:
From my blog
Social Media
Sneak Peek
BookFunnel/StoryOrigin Promos
Cartoons
Book and Merch links
If you are wondering why it feels less crowded in here, I did my monthly purge of inactive subscribers.
If you sign up to my newsletter solely for the free book and never open any of the entertaining and informative emails, then eventually I send out a final email (also entertaining and informative) letting you know that you can unsubscribe if you no longer wish to receive the entertaining and informative emails. or through inaction, i.e. not opening the email, which I realize is moot because if the email isn't opened . . . anyway, I will take them off the list.
I'm sure that some of my newsletters get shunted to spam folders, but hopefully You have added Linesbyleon to the safe list, and as I mentioned, I changed the address format to your first name (if provided).
If you are curious about the unsubscribe letter (which you have been prevented from getting by reading this) you can read it in all its informative (and entertaining) glory on the interview sneak peek page since there is no interview available this week.
I have been playing around with my social media accounts. Each one has its benefits. My Instagram account has my two weekly cartoons (Mondays and Wednesdays) along with some of my poetry. On Twitter, I have been posting the book promo links, some of my blogs, and a survey or two (found out that people like rewteets).
What I don't like about Twitter [insert favorite Elon Musk joke here] is how fast tweets disappear down the feed. The average time is 18 minutes before it is lost in the scrolleverse (the point where most people give up scrolling down).
StoryOrigin and BookFunnel allows authors to advertise their books to each other's audience. I hope you have been able to discover a new favorite!
