I'd like to welcome you if you are a new subscriber. You probably received the welcome letter with lots o' info on what to expect from this newsletter. If you missed it you can get it here: FAQs Maybe I don't do this enough, but I also want to thank my current subscribers for sticking around and opening my weekly emails.
Reviews
If you have read any of my books, I would appreciate if you could leave a short review on any of these sites: Amazon, BookBub, and/or Goodreads. Reviews allow authors to increase readership and sales. This is especially important to new authors. I appreciate your support. You can also recommend my books to others.
Survey
I know what you are wondering. "Did you get enough survey participants to gather enough information?"
Short answer: Nope.
Longer answer: Not quite.
Even longer answer: No. I could use a few more.
Surveys are important to me because it allows me to make the newsletter experience better, improves how and what I share, and makes me a better writer and content creator. So please take a few minutes and complete the survey below. The more participants I get, the more accurate the results are.
Writing Update
Book three is almost ready for editing. I'm still going over each chapter to make sure everything is adequately described and explained, not to mention catching those pesky typos. So, there is still time to start the trilogy. Book one is only $2.99.
Poetry
I recently ended my distribution contract with Friesen Press. They helped me publish my first book and I learned a lot about the self-publishing process, but it was time to cut ties. I did have to republish Lines by Leon: Poems, Prose, and Pictures, but it is now exclusively available on Amazon on Kindle and paperback.
I took the opportunity to change a few things. No typos, but there were some word choices that were brought to my attention from other poets, a format tweak, and I improved the quality of the pictures. I may have snuck an extra page in as well.
I'm just waiting for Amazon to update the new information. But you can pick up the Kindle version:
