WELCOME to the first of many Interiors Addict newsletters! Sorry it's been such a long wait but I've been juggling a few hats lately (what's new?) but I'm finally here and now there's been one, there'll be more, don't you worry! I'm going to move the weekly Sunday Snippets post to this newsletter and there'll also be exclusives, competitions and all sorts of other fun and inspirational stuff!

We had so much fun with #interiorsphotomonth on Instagram last month, I've decided to bring it back for September. I'd love to hear your suggestions for words to inspire the daily photo challenges. Let me know what you think! I'm @jenbishop_interiorsaddict on Insta, by the way. Come say hi!
Our new Job Board!
It's only been a few days but the Interiors Addict Job Board is going OFF already! I decided to create it to help out the many wannabe stylists and designers looking for work experience, internships or simply their first job in the interiors industry. I was getting so many emails from people asking if I knew anyone looking for help, I decided to make something more permanent. There's also the opportunity to post an ad if you're in the industry and looking for an extra pair of hands. It's 100% FREE to use. More than 40 candidates from all over the country have registered already. Many of them have interior design qualifications and are willing to work for free in order to gain that all important industry experience. Check it out!
The Best of the Week in Interiors
So what's been happening this week? Quite a lot actually!
Hooray! Love a new IKEA catalogue! While I was at the Tempe store I also made note of a few rugs to share with you. Find them here.
This week, the Your Future Home Green Interior Awards were launched, which I'm happy to be the major sponsor of. It's to recognise the use of green and sustainable products in interior design. I hope some of you will be entering your own projects.
TODAY I finally got to check out The School, run by uber talented and celebrated Sydney stylist Megan Morton. I went along to a flower bombing class with florist Holly Hipwell and it was awesome. I'm now envisaging flower bombs hanging from ribbons on church pews and from my bridesmaids' wrists at my wedding next year. SO MUCH FUN! I'll be blogging about it tomorrow.
I was honoured to make it onto the Decorex 100 list of the most influential interior design tweeters internationally.
I hope you enjoyed the first Interiors Addict newsletter! Yours in interior inspiration, Jen x
