Our farm and community garden members have accomplished so much this past year. We're grateful to work for them and to be growing new farmers as well as food with our Black Butterfly Urban Farmer Academy program and farm at Farring-Baybrook Park. Sofia Whiting Memorial Scholarship Fund

Sofia Whiting was a young person in the Farm Alliance family whose love of urban farming brought her close to many of our member farms. Please consider giving as generously as you can as we launch this scholarship to honor her memory.

The Farm Alliance of Baltimore will award up to 3 scholarships of $1000 each to college-bound scholars from the Baltimore area who have demonstrated a love of urban farming and community gardening.

FAB + ROSS GAY celebration at the Ivy Bookshop this Sun.

The Ivy Bookshop is having a small family-friendly outdoor festival celebrating Ross Gay's The Book of Delights & the Ivy's 20 year-birthday, and 1-year anniversary at its new location. More information here

Farm Alliance will be doing a pop up market, assisting with a native planting in the bookshop gardens and spreading the word about all of the amazing farms & gardens.
