April is here and will hopefully bring warmer temperatures to our area. This is the time of year when people start to venture outside to do yardwork, prep for a garden, or begin a running or outdoor workout regimen. If you turn into a Weekend Warrior
once the temps warm up, be sure to read more on injury prevention and treatment so you can stay safe.
April is an important month for raising awareness for a variety conditions and health issues. Autism awareness, C-Section awareness, IBS awareness, Stress awareness, Fibroid awareness and Infertility awareness to name a few.
Our office offers many services and resources that can help with women's health and pregnancy, helping to overcome infertility struggles and decrease c-sections. IBS responds well to chiropractic, acupuncture and dietary changes. Chiropractic, acupuncture, massage and the infrared sauna can also help decrease stress levels and promote relaxation. If you or a loved are dealing with any of these conditions, please contact our office today so we can help.

Fight Infertilty Naturally
Dr. Brenda Trudell
For many couples, the dream of becoming parents is easy to achieve. They decide when they would like to start having children, try a couple of times, and then voila- a baby arrives nine months later! But for millions of Americans, this is not the case. According to the National Center for Health Statistics of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about 12% of women in the US (7.3 million) between the ages of 15-44 had difficulty conceiving or carrying a baby to full term in 2002. This number continues to grow each year, along with the frustration of the couples who cannot achieve their dream of becoming parents.
Most experts define infertility as not being able to get pregnant after at least one year of trying. Women who are able to get pregnant but then have repeat miscarriages are also said to be infertile. Why do some women have problems conceiving and others don’t? This question is asked every day by couples struggling to have a child and the answers aren’t always clear. In some cases, the cause may be obvious, but in others, it is not.

Essential Oil of the Month: PanAway
PanAway essential oil blend can help reduce pain and inflammation, may increase circulation and accelerate healing. PanAway can also help with relieving swelling and discomfort from arthritis, sprains, muscle spasms and cramps, bumps, and bruises. It has a cooling effect that offers immediate relief, and works well for headaches too. It is great for first aid relief of minor injuries due to physical activity, yardwork, gardening and exercise. It is a blend of wintergreen, helichrysum, clove, and peppermint, and has a clean, minty aroma.
For more info on how to order PanAway or other essential oils, please call our office at 437-9990, or email Chris firstname.lastname@example.org.
