Thanks to this month's luncheon sponsor!
MISSION OF THE COBB REPUBLICAN WOMEN’S CLUB: PREPARE WOMEN FOR POSITIONS IN GOVERNMENT, AND TO ACT AS A SUPPORTIVE ARM FOR OUR REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES WHO SEEK TO SERVE OUR COMMUNITY, STATE AND COUNTRY BY WORKING DILIGENTLY TO ENSURE THEIR ELECTION OR RE-ELECTION.
ARE YOU READY?
will be the biggest opportunity for YOU
to keep the America that we have all grown to love. If we lose this election, we will not recognize America… we will have mandates, unfunded police and a country out of control. We are one nation under God… a government of the people, by the people and for the people! We WILL WIN WITH YOUR VOTE for the re-election of PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP and for our many candidates in Cobb and Georgia who need your vote and support
. As Republicans, we will vote for those who respect our police who risk their lives for us every day, not elect those who want to defund them. We will know that we can walk the streets without fear and this will be for ALL CITIZENS! Do we need to make some changes, yes we do, but law and order are priorities. We cannot sit this one out! We also NEED YOUR SUPPORT. We need you to make phone calls and to help the candidates.
In this newsletter, you will find information regarding Ballot Drop Boxes if for some reason you cannot vote in person. I hope you will, but we understand there are a number of those who cannot get out. Please utilize the Ballot Drop Boxes and the locations. We hope this is helpful and you will also find additional information regarding candidates.
We have confirmed RNC Committee Woman Ginger Howard and Dr. Alveda King, niece of Rev. Martin Luther King, for the General meeting on September 25th. We hope you can join us. It will be at our usual location: the Hilton Atlanta/Marietta Hotel & Conference Center located at 500 Powder Springs St. SW, Marietta, GA from 11:30-1:00 p.m. We will also have a “Meet and Greet” for our candidates at 11:00-11:30 prior to the General Meeting. Please put that date on your calendar.
Again, we are requesting that you wear your masks when you are going through registration. We are also asking that you PRE-REGISTER AND PAY IN ADVANCE
and that you do this as soon as you can so social distancing can be set up based on registration numbers we will give to the Hilton. Please join us and register by going to our website at www.CCRWC.org
We will also give you an opportunity to volunteer to serve with CCRWC members in numerous capacities… we have to win this election and we need your help if only for a brief time out of your day/week. All of us working together will make the difference in our county, in our country and in Georgia.
If you have questions about membership, please contact our Membership Chair Lori Chastain at email@example.com
. You can also obtain a membership form on our website at www.CCRWC.org
and other event information.
May God continue to bless you all and keep each of you safe,
2020 CCRWC President

Please make sure you wear a mask while going through the cafeteria-style food line (food served by Hilton staff) and please do not move the dining chairs around. Out of respect for the Hilton and its staff, let's try not to do anything that may put them at risk of being non-compliant. RSVP ASAP so they can plan the seating arrangement. (Thank you.)

Major Crisis in Cobb County
CCRWC Campaign Chairman
We face a major crisis in Cobb County.
Of the three congressmen representing Cobb County TWO are democrats.
- Because of the way the U.S. Senatorial campaign is playing out, we could divide the vote as republicans and end up with a democrat U.S. senator.
- Our sheriff is being assailed in the paper because he won't coddle the inmates.
- Our Cobb state delegation is democrat and they are challenging all of our republican seats!
- If we lose one seat on the school board it will flip from republican to democrat.
- We currently have 4 republicans on the Cobb County Commission:
- three seats are up for election,
- we stand the possibility of dividing the votes and having a democrat elected,
- we could conceivably be transformed info a democrat-led county commission.
We have multiple county positions up for election from our District Attorney to the Tax Commissioner. (HERE
Cobb has trended blue often enough to render us a purple county.
- If you have been around for very long, you will remember that in the 1960s and 70s Dekalb County was the garden spot of the metro area,
- if we don't take these challenges seriously we are going to be in the same situation as Dekalb is now, a former garden spot.
Get district maps for each of the campaigns HERE
I am also in the process of creating a list of all republican candidates who will be on the ballot in Cobb County and the information needed to volunteer in their campaign.
If you represent a campaign and have not given me your information, please do so. I can't share what I don't have. You may email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are a member of CCRWC, there is NO REASON for you not to be involved in a campaign.
- Please look at the maps.
- Determine who is running in your area.
- Choose a candidate.
- Go to work!
If you are undecided, attend our candidate's forum coming up in April. Listen to the candidates and then make a decision as to who you not only will vote for, but who you will work to elect.
A decision to do nothing at all
is a decision to allow Cobb to turn blue.
