We Need Your Help!
CAST is seeking middle school ELA and remedial reading teachers to participate in a research study from August 2015-April 2016. The goal is to learn how Udio, a new online reading program, impacts the motivation and reading comprehension of students. To learn more, email us at udio-recruit@cast.org

UDL Marzano Crosswalk
CAST is pleased to announce a new free resource for educators that links the UDL guidelines and checkpoints with the strategies described in Dr. Robert Marzano’s work. Based upon the work of two Washington state teachers, the Crosswalk on UDL and Marzano’s Effective Instruction Strategies will help educators to integrate the UDL framework into their everyday practice.

Story Share Contest Winners Announced
Story Share, the $50K contest to benefit teen and adult beginning readers came to a close early this year, and eleven winners have been announced. The winning stories, along with other recommended reads for older struggling readers, are currently available as free eBooks on the contest website.

Fall Courses: Institutes and Online
