Paint-a-Gator 6/6

FAMILY MURAL PAINTING FUN AT THE SPRING FAIR 10AM-5PM Click here to sign up your family for a 30 minute time slot to paint the new Grand View Gator Mural in the amphitheater behind the Cafeteria. No artistic talent required. Thank you to BE Education - Beautify Earth for making this project possible.
 

49th Annual Spring Fair 6/6


10AM-5PM - UPPER PLAYGROUND Featuring the fabulous talent show, tasty eats from local restaurants, game booths, inflatables, and much more!

TEACHER/STAFF RAFFLE Enter to win a memorable experience with GV teachers and staff. Raffle offerings were sent home in the Tuesday Envelope and can be found at gvpta.com. Raffle tickets will be available at the fair and all proceeds go to MBEF.

CHILI COOK OFF Dust off that crock pot, test that secret family recipe, and enter the Chili Cook Off! Contestants please contact Amanda Zaumeyer or Ali Snyder.

BOOK SALE BOOTH Clean out your closets and go under the beds to donate used books, DVDs and CDs to the Grand View Fair Used Book Booth. Drop off your donations in the Library hallway. There will also be a drop box at the flag pole and at the Bell Avenue entrance. Questions? Contact Bobbie Kokorowski.

BOOTH TICKETS Order your Fair tickets online at gvpta.com or turn in the flyer to the PTA room. Tickets can be used at ALL fair booths. 6/3 is the deadline for classroom delivery. 6/5 at 2pm is the deadline for pre-order will call pick-up. Questions? Contact Courtney Halle.
 

School Supplies for 2015-16

ORDER ONLINE BY 6/30 Visit 1st Day School Supplies, Locate Grand View and select your child's grade for NEXT YEAR. Our teachers have carefully chosen their supply lists. Please support their choices and save yourself gas, time, and frustration by purchasing your complete kit online. Kits will be mailed to your home in a handy reusable bag for your child to bring on their first day of school. 6/30 is the firm final date to place an order. Questions? Email Kristen Lukas.
 

Classroom Emergency Kits for 2015-16

DEADLINE TO ORDER 9/15  Every student must have an emergency kit at school. EDP students need two kits: one for the classroom and one for the EDP room. And for peace of mind, some families order extra kits to keep at home and in the car. For your convenience, GVPTA offers online ordering with moreprepared.com. Kits have a 5-year shelf life, so order only if you don't have yours from last year to send with your child in the fall. Kits will be delivered to your child's classroom in late September. Questions? Run Club

RUN CLUB FINISHES AT THE END OF MAY We have participation prizes for everyone!

5/20 Every runner gets a Popsicle stick (trade it in for a free Popsicle after school on Wednesday at the ice cream window).

5/22 Free Kangoo class for parents from 7:30-8:05am. Email Vicki Tyler to reserve a spot.

5/27 Every runner gets a pizza coupon courtesy of Fresh Brothers.

AUTHOR VISIT 5/18 Thanks to our friends at {pages} bookstore middle grade author Lisa McMann (Unwanteds series) will visit GV on 5/18 to speak to our 4th and 5th graders and her books are available online from {pages}. Lisa McMann will make a store appearance at {pages} on 5/18 at 4pm.
