MBEF Annual Appeal

MUSIC: AN INSTRUMENT FOR LEARNING MATH Studies by the US Dept. of Education show that music in schools helps children learn math. It also helps students grasp scientific concepts faster and improves cognitive development. Over time, kids with music programs in their schools demonstrate higher math and science proficiency by a significant margin. Needless to say, we could not have a Grammy-winning program at Mira Costa without the strong foundation in music developed in our elementary grades. Investing in our Annual Appeal ensures that your child will have music in every grade, K-12. mbef.org/givetoday
