MATH TEXTBOOK ADOPTION New math books are coming! The Math Committee has narrowed the field of options and parent input is an important next step in the textbook adoption process. Please stop by the PTA room from 11/5-11/13 from 8:15am-3pm to review materials and offer feedback. There will be rubrics available to share your input. Maker Space Resumes
GATOR MAKER SESSION INFO
We took the week off during minimum days and are ready for Session 1 Gator Makers to come to the Science Lab during lunch on their assigned day: 3rd grade on Monday, 11/2. 4th grade on Tuesday, 11/3. 5th grade on Friday, 11/6. Before you know it, your little Gators will be proud Mustangs! The Costa Experience helps 8th grade students and their parents transition into Mira Costa. Dr. Ben Dale and a dozen high school students spoke to a full house recently about life at Costa. Booster organizers were on hand to talk about the performing arts, athletic teams, extra-curricular classes, and more in the newly-completed Mustang Mall. Excited faces say more than words about a tour enjoyed by MBMS students!
