KINDNESS MATTERS ON THE PLAYGROUNDS OF LIFE
This week we are launching a PE program new to Grand View called "I Set the Standard." Our goal is to promote and encourage sportsmanship and integrity by acknowledging students who set an example for others by their words and actions. On Tuesday each child will receive a note from Ms. Wood outlining the program. Individual students will soon be recognized in their classrooms and by the school for their character in PE (and in life) and will receive a special t-shirt. Thank you for your support as we improve the playgrounds at GV with compassionate athletes and scholars! Here are two great stories showing extraordinary character on the playing fields: Sara Tucholsky - An Inspiring Softball Story
and True Sportsmanship
