New School Committee Forming

Plants Wanted 2/5

C LEVEL SUCCULENT GARDEN Former GV student Maddy Bream is refreshing the C level succulent garden to earn her Girl Scout Silver Award. About 20-30 more succulent plants are needed to complete the project. Drop off succulents at the C level lunch tables on Friday, 2/5, and Maddy will plant them after school. Please email Sarah Bream at srbream@aim.com if you are able to donate a 40-50 foot hose that will be used to maintain the garden.

They are 20-foot octagons, and you are the ideal volunteer if you have a building background or are great with assembling IKEA furniture. Tentative project dates: 2/10-2/13. Email vickityler@me.com.

2016-17 Registration - Kindergarten and New Students 2/8-2/16

SPREAD THE WORD Do you know a child who lives in Manhattan Beach who will be 5 years old on or before 9/1/16? If so, please let the family know it is important they go to their child's neighborhood elementary school the week of 2/8-2/16 to fill out a pre-enrollment information sheet. This is also the week to pre-enroll children entering grades 1-5 in 2016-17 who will be attending MBUSD schools for the first time. Details at mbusd.org.
