Scrip Holiday Orders Due Monday

SUPPORT GV WHILE SHOPPING It costs you nothing extra to buy your holiday gift cards from Scrip. Submit form and payment to the scrip box in the PTA room by 12/8. Orders received without payment will not be processed. This is your chance to purchase holiday gifts for family and friends, as well as GV teachers and staff. The Order Form and Teacher/Staff Wish Lists are available online. GV gets a percentage of the cost of each card, but you pay only face value. For more info visit or email Paula Davis.

GV AT 64% OF OUR PARTICIPATION GOAL Thank you to those families who have donated! Donations to MBEF are why our children enjoy reasonable class sizes, hands-on science, music programs, librarians, counselors, and so much more in our Manhattan Beach schools. Without parent donations, our schools would be very different places indeed.
Click for current classroom participation. Classes that reach 75-94% participation will receive $200 in classroom supplies and those that reach 95% and above will receive $250 in supplies to use this year. Please consider donating at

Gator Gratitude

BIG THANKS ALL AROUND Grand View has benefited tremendously from amazingly generous local vendors and parent volunteers at our Pancake Breakfast and Book Fair events.

A big helping of Gator Gratitude goes to GROW in MB. They donated all the fresh produce for our Pancake Breakfast. Thanks, GROW! Other Pancake Breakfast vendors who deserve our thanks: MB Post, McDonald's, Lemonade, Pancho's, Coffee Bean, Two Guns Espresso, Corner Bakery, and Four Daughters Kitchen.

Our heartfelt thanks goes out to the Book Fair Committee: Pauline Shahin, Michele Fukumoto, Lisa Thompson, and Jo Karambelas. The committee sends a huge special thanks to Linda Figel and Margot Farris from {pages}, whose partnership made the fair so successful. The committee is grateful for the parent volunteers and sends a special thank you to Kathy Poje and Victor Simmering for always being there to help. Thank you to the Book Fair vendors for goods, services, and percentage of sales donations: {pages} a bookstore, Deep Roots, Fresh Brothers, Peet's Coffee, Graphics by Mariko Kitano Ostboe, PIP Printing and Marketing Services, Anderson Lilley Candles, Nicole Webb Clothing, and The College Artisan.
