Plastic Caps Due 5/13

BOTTLE CAPS FOR ART Our Student Council needs plastic bottle caps (especially green ones) for an art project to be unveiled at the 5th grade promotion. Drop them off in the PTA room by by 5/13.
 

50th Annual Spring Fair 5/14

10AM-3PM - UPPER PLAYGROUND Featuring the fabulous talent show, tasty eats from local restaurants, game booths, inflatables, the YAA Gallery showcasing your child's artwork, and much more!

VOLUNTEER FOR FUN Help make the Fair amazing! Help set up on Friday and/or work a booth on Saturday. Sign up today!

BOOTH TICKETS Click to buy! Tickets can be used at ALL fair booths. The deadline for classroom delivery is 5/11, and the deadline for pre-order will call pick-up is 2pm on 5/13. Questions? Email Courtney Halle or Stephanie Graham

TEACHER/STAFF RAFFLE Enter to win a memorable experience with GV teachers and staff. Raffle tickets will be available at the Fair or print the form here. Proceeds go to MBEF.

CHILI COOK OFF Dust off that crock pot, test that secret family recipe, and enter the Chili Cook Off! Contestants please contact Amanda Zaumeyer or Ali Snyder.

BOOK SALE BOOTH Drop off used children's and adult books in the Library hall, or in the collection boxes at the flag pole and at the Bell Avenue entrance. DVDs and CDs are accepted, but please no VHS tapes, encyclopedias, textbooks, or magazines. Questions? Email Rochelle Cistone.

NEW THIS YEAR The awesome Yoobi Arts & Crafts bus will be at our Fair. Yoobi sparks learning and creativity while also giving back -- for every Yoobi item you purchase, a Yoobi item is donated to a U.S. classroom in need.

Gator Gratitude

APPRECIATION WEEK Thank you for a week of flowers, treats, and surprises! The teachers and staff appreciate YOU! A big thank you to GVPTA for providing four catered lunches and a breakfast, and to Veggie Grill (the Pillan family) and Corner Bakery for generously providing lunch at a reduced cost to GVPTA. An extra helping of gratitude to Julie Tendoesschate and Sandie Weitz for graciously presenting the meals all week with fresh linens, bright flowers, and sunny smiles!

MB/X Symposium 5/19

FOR PARENTS & TEENS Keynote speaker: Eric Karros, former Dodger, current parent. Come hear Eric Karros and leading experts explore how to find a healthier balance between students' emotional well-being and their performance and satisfaction in sports, activities, and the classroom. A VERY SPECIAL CELEBRATION Get ready for a fun night out that will help raise funds to instill environmental values in 300,000+ Grades of Green students! MBMS Scholar Quiz 5/26

4TH/5TH GRADE PARENTS: WANT TO GET AN INSIDER'S VIEW OF MBMS? Come watch the Scholar Quiz Finals on 5/26 at 1:15pm in the MBMS Multipurpose room. This high-speed academic competition (think Jeopardy! at 100 mph) galvanizes the entire campus for seven days in the spring each year. It's a great way to get a feel for our middle school. Questions?
