Update: MBUSD Calendars

FROM SUPERINTENDENT MIKE MATTHEWS The Board of Trustees has adopted a revised calendar for 2016-17, and new calendars for 2017-18 and 2018-19. They are available at the Calendars page at

Run Club

RUN CLUB IS A WRAP 62% of our amazing Gators (and many parents) ran or walked over 5,334 miles -- equivalent to running 205 marathons or running to the White House and back! 4th grade had the highest participation rate this year at 65%, while Ms. Glassman's 2nd graders had the highest rate of participation for an individual class at 91%. Because active kids do better in school we will continue to focus on participation in 2016-17. See you in October when Run Club resumes!

Gator Gratitude

RUN CLUB Special thanks to the parents who have been so gracious and always happy to be part of the program by helping with set up, scanning, uploading data, delivering prizes, and manning the Popsicle window: Jessica Flores, Barbara van Leeuwen, Jason & Crystal Trenton, Jenny Spreitzer, April Brown, Stephanie Graham, Katie LeRosen, and Vicki Tyler. Many thanks to all the parents who have run with their kids or who have helped to scan throughout the year! We owe our successful Run Club to all of you!
