Shopping Receipts = Cash for GV

MANHATTAN VILLAGE MALL  Receipts from any shopping at the Manhattan Village Mall can earn $$ for our school! Deposit them in the marked envelope in the PTA room. We'll show them to the mall concierge (then shred them) to receive points toward our share of $7,500. We collect receipts year round, but those submitted in November are worth triple points!

NEED TO KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS? No problem! Show your receipts to the mall concierge yourself and you'll get them right back.

EARN EVEN MORE POINTS FOR GV Register for Shopping 4 Students and/or join The Scoop, which features the latest offers, deals, and perks at MV Mall.

Got Leaves?

Drop off bagged leaves by the compost unit behind the 1st grade classrooms. Contact Robyn Murphy for more info or for help getting leaves to school.

MBEF Sings

LET'S KEEP THIS TUNE GOING FOR YEARS TO COME! Michael Hayden, the Director of Choirs for Mira Costa High School, was one of five California Teachers of the Year. (Fun photos on Facebook). This latest recognition follows earlier honors for Mr. Hayden as MBUSD Teacher of the Year and one of sixteen LA County Teachers of the Year. Parent donations to MBEF pay for 40% of MBUSD music faculty salaries. MBEF's longstanding support of music is a hallmark of our organization. This year MBEF granted $385,000 to support music teachers.

HELP YOURSELF TO A YARD SIGN! The WE   MBEF signs decorating Grand View are for your yards, so take one home to show your support for our outstanding public schools.
