Walking School Bus Kick-off 10/7
CELEBRATE INTERNATIONAL WALK TO SCHOOL DAY Register your child with the WSB program before 10/7 and your child will be eligible for participation prizes throughout the year. Children who registered last year must
re-register for 2015-16. For every child you enroll, you will receive one free admission to AdventurePlex, including for children who are re-registering!
WSB KICK-OFF PRIZES Students who
register and
walk with a WSB on 10/7 will be entered into a drawing for a $20 Skechers gift card (one winner per school). The school with the greatest percentage of registered walkers will receive an assortment of new exercise equipment for the school.

THANK YOU! Many thanks to the more than 58% of our Gator families who have already donated to MBEF! Without your contributions our schools would not enjoy the many programs that the CA state budget cannot provide. Classes that reach 75-94% participation will receive $200 in classroom supplies and those that reach 95% and above will receive $250 in supplies to use this year.

Service Dog Training in GV Kinder Classroom
PLEASE NO PETTING Mrs. Abt is raising and training an assistance dog that will accompany her every day to school. This is a working dog. You must refrain from petting or distracting the dog from Mrs. Abt's direction in any way. The dog will remain in Room 2 in a crate or an exercise pen most of the school day for the first five months. For more info visit cci.org.
REMINDER Service dogs at school are the only exception to California Education Code. No other dogs are permitted on campus at any time, even when school is not in session.

Pumpkin Carving & Spooky Pizza Party on 10/30.

Run Club Is Back
RUN CLUB STATS 205 Gators and their parents came out for our first Run Club Day and ran 185 miles! 4th grade had the highest level of participation overall at 37%. Top participants for each grade level: 5th: Spragg 37%. 4th: Kinzer 44%. 3rd: Farris 50%. 2nd: Pliaconis 39%. 1st: Mushet 40%.
