Gator Volunteer Challenge

SPONSORED BY SKYWATCH The ask is that every parent will volunteer for at least one event this year. And thanks to our friends at Skywatch, volunteering for events like these puts you in a drawing for a beautiful Skywatch timepiece. Please register your interest in helping by sending in this form ASAP. Questions? Email Vicki Tyler.

MBEF Appeal Ends 2/15

GV AT 76% OF ITS PARTICIPATION GOAL Thank you to those families who have donated and congratulations to Mrs. Guelff’s class for 100% participation! Without parent donations, our schools would not enjoy the many programs that the CA state budget cannot provide. Many companies have a matching gift program and this will count towards your donation.

Classes with 75-94% participation will receive $200 in classroom supplies and those that reach 95% and above will receive $250 in supplies to use this year. Classroom stats to date. Please consider donating at mbef.org/givetoday

MLK Poster Contest Winners

THEME: MY DREAM FOR THE WORLD Thank you to the students who participated in the Student Council Poster Contest to celebrate the work of Martin Luther King, Jr. All entries are on display in the Library hall -- read them and be inspired! Thieves Ruin Harvest

SCHOOL GARDEN PLUNDERED After school and on weekends our teachers have witnessed children stealing produce from the Growing Great Garden while their caregivers simply stood by. The Garden Club had been waiting patiently for a bountiful harvest to sell at our farmers market and they are devastated by the destruction. Please educate caregivers and remind children about staying out of the school garden.

Got Game?

JEFF GOODRICH PARENTS' SOCCER CLASSIC 5/2 Grand View Team Captain Alan Franz needs YOU to bring home the trophy! The tournament will benefit MBX and the family Officer Jeff Goodrich left behind. We know the event is the same day as the Gator Run, but Alan says Gators can do it all! Info is online or email Alan.
