Annual Appeal
WE ARE SO PROUD TO HAVE SCIENCE SPECIALIST GRETCHEN RENSHAW AT GRAND VIEW! Mrs. Renshaw was awarded a Teachers Driving Innovation grant from
MBEF to introduce coding to Grand View students through the use of robots, iPads, and other technology.
NEW GRANT FOR 2015-16 MBEF launched the Teachers Driving Innovation grant this year to provide funds for teacher-driven projects that promote innovation and/or collaboration in learning that aligns with District goals. This program provides educators with the opportunity to exercise their passion for teaching and to develop ideas for instruction beyond textbook material.
YOU MAKE IT HAPPEN This exciting new grant and the many other grants and programs provided by
MBEF to all MBUSD students would not be possible without the generous support of our parents and community partners.
Our annual appeal is drawing to a close. If you have not yet donated, please give now.

Run Club M-W-F
EVERYONE WELCOME! Hats off to all the kids who continue to run during the colder weather! Special mention goes to Ms. Glassman's 2nd grade class with 66% participation! "Exercise is the single most powerful tool you have to optimize brain function, and even 10 minutes of activity changes your brain," says Harvard Medical School psychiatrist John Ratey.
