A Message from the Principal

SBAC TESTING - STATE COMMON CORE ASSESSMENTS BEGIN IN APRIL  We begin the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) testing this Monday, April 3. Below is the testing schedule:

  • 4th Grade: Monday 4/24-Thursday 4/27
  • 5th Grade: Monday 5/1-Thursday 5/4
PARENTS PLAY A CRITICAL PART IN TESTING SUCCESS Our teachers and students have been working hard preparing for state testing. Parents can help by make sure their children are well rested, eat a healthful breakfast each day, and wake up early enough to arrive at school with a calm body and a calm mind in order to maintain the stamina that these tests require. Thank you in advance for making sure your children arrive on time and ready to show us their best! Gratefully, Mrs. Doyle.

If you want to be part of the team and part of a charity that has raised over $200,000 for MBX, the foundation that supports school athletics programs) please contact Jeff Serota or Charles Southey to get details.
