Don't Miss Aladdin Jr. Next Weekend
The North Cross School music and drama departments will present Disney's Aladdin Junior on April 12 and 13 at 7:00 p.m. in Fishburn Auditorium. Director of Choirs for North Cross School, Andrew Miller, is directing the Disney musical. The fifty member cast is composed of students from North Cross School's lower, middle, and upper schools. You won't want to miss it!

Headmaster's Coffee this Tuesday
You are invited to attend Dr. Proctor's second, and last, Headmaster Coffee for the year. Please join us on Tuesday, April 9, at 12 PM in Hancock Library (please note the location has changed and is different than what you will see on the school calendar). Dr. Proctor will be addressing current issues at the school and discussing educational trends around the country. We hope to see you there.

Leadership Reception - May 16
Please save the date for the Annual Leadership Reception on Thursday, May 16, at the home of Ellie and Chris Proctor. This reception is to thank those who have contributed $1,000 or more to the 2012-13 Annual Fund. Invitations will be sent out in the next few weeks.

NCS Upper School Spanish Teacher receives Scholarship for Summer Study in Costa Rica
Upper School Spanish teacher, Nitza Fernandez-Plaski, was awarded a scholarship for a two-week summer study program at the Costa Rica Spanish Institute (COSI). The prestigious award was given through the Virginia Chapter of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP-VA). This is the first year the award has been given. Señora Plaski will also be attending a conference next Saturday, April 13, at the Center for Liberal Arts in Charlottesville to receive her certificate in person. ¡Felicidades! Señora Plaski!
