BCCFA 2014 Conference and AGM
June 12-14, 2014 in Williams Lake
Hosted by the Esk'etemc and Likely-Xat'sull Community Forests

The Cariboo Forest Region - From Desert to Rainforest
This conference promises to be a dynamic event covering a broad range of topics important to community forest boards, managers, government, academics, and forest professionals. The practical and informative sessions and discussions, combined with opportunities for networking with colleagues and experienced professionals are sure to inspire and make the time worthwhile for all who attend.

The BCCFA annual event will feature two field days that will take us from the desert environment of the Esk’etemc Community Forest to the inland temperate rainforest of the Likely-Xat’sull Community Forest. The field trips will combine tours of the community forests, with presentations covering key topics of interest to all community forests. We are advised to bring some “deep woods off and hiking boots, or moccasins”, if you prefer. The third day will take place in Williams Lake, and features a series of panels and workshops aimed at addressing the strategic issues and priorities of community forests in BC.
