Every year, from October through December 1st, all units (packs, troops, crews, & posts) renew their affiliation with Scouting. This process allows units to update their adult and youth members' information, pay registration fees, and renew the Scout Life magazine subscriptions. Online recharters make it easier to add or remove individuals as well as track the required trainings.
Important considerations for your units recharter.
Each adult should be YPT trained for the full time of your charter.
Paying online has a fee 1% for check and 3% for credit card. These fees are not set by the NWGA Council.
Paying at the NWGA Service Center is an option, however Scout Life subscriptions paid at the service center are subject to 7% sales tax. Paid online there is no sales tax.
