Apple has just confirmed that the updated Mac Pro will be coming out in 2019. They haven't really provided any information other than saying that they are re-thinking the line all together. There doesn't seem to be any more information other than that.

Apple could be incorporating Intel's latest chipset into their computers sometime this year and this includes a possible i9 processor in the MacBook Pro lineup. Although we probably would not see RAM sizes at 32GB even though the i9 Processor does support it.
