Results from the 2017 U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Kansas City in next week's Inside Edge!

The Skating Club of San Francisco sends all their best wishes to the Tremors Synchronized teams for a wonderful experience at 2017 MIDWESTERN PACIFIC SYNCHRONIZED SKATING SECTIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS! Go Tremors!

There will be NO Club ice on January 21, due to testing.

On Saturday January 28 and February 4, Club session times will start at 7:00am and end at 8:30 am. You can sign up for sessions at 7:00 am, 7:30am, and 8:00 am on those dates.

Important Events:

PLEASE ATTEND!!  BURLINGAME CITY COUNCIL MEETING TOMORROW- TUESDAY NIGHT, JANUARY 17TH, 7:00 PM BURLINGAME CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 501 PRIMROSE RD.

The Burlingame City council will consider whether or not to allow a rink be built in Burlingame.   If you live in Burlingame, we need you on Tuesday night to attend and speak in support of a new rink.

If you don't live in Burlingame, please come and show your support and yes of course you can speak as well although we do need a lot of Burlingame speakers!..

Attention SCSF Adult Skaters! SCSF is holding a critique of programs for SCSF Home club adults attending the adult sectionals in Burbank (March 10-12, 2017) and/or adult nationals in Wake Forest, North Carolina (April 18-22) at YBISC during Club ice on February 18. The performance portion of this event will be held from 7:15 to 7:45 AM, and this session is free for SCSF Home club adults. Please go to www.scsf.org to sign up through Entry Eeze for this adult critique program. If you have questions about this program, email Ted Gradman at tjgradman@yahoo.com.

There will be no charge for the critique from Club officials, which will include a modified IJS protocol for those skaters with IJS programs. The critiques will take place after the event during a no host brunch get together.

Adults attending this critique session will have the opportunity to warm up on the 6:15 and 6:45 AM sessions. The 6:15 and 6:45 AM sessions can be purchased through Entry Eeze for the regular Club ice price at www.scsf.org. Sign up now to secure your preferred warm up session(s)!

Apply to the The Pioneer Fund!
The Pioneer Fund established a college scholarship program in 2010 to assist eligible current and former amateur and professional ice skaters who dedicated their lives to skating and now wish to pursue a college education. Scholarships are offered each year for full-time undergraduate study at an accredited institution of the student's choice. Eligible individuals are skaters who have competed at least once in a U.S. Figure Skating qualifying competition at the novice level or higher in either a Men's, Ladies, Dance or Pairs event.

This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship Management Services, a division of Scholarship America. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability or national origin. A total of $240,000 in scholarship will be awarded ranging from $4,000 to $8,000 per scholarship recipient and scholarship awards will be announced in June, 2017.
