The Skating Club of San Francisco, Inc. is proud to report Junior level ice dancers, SCSF member Anthony Ponomarenko and his partner, Christina Carreira, SC of New York, finished second in a Junior Grand Prix in France! They are now headed to Russia for their next JGP event.

More Ice Dance News: High fives go out to Jessica Zhao (Gold Level), Erin Lee (Gold Level), and Josephine Kaminaga, (Pre Gold Level) who earned enough points to qualify for the 2016 National Solo Dance Final! SCSF wishes them all happy skating at this prestigious competition!

Two SCSF members are going to the 2016 Novice and Junior Challenge Skate, an invitational competition, in Utah! Sierra Venetta, the Novice Ladies Bronze medalist at the 2016 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, is competing as a Junior lady at the Challenge Skate September 14 through 18.  Dinh Tran who also qualified at the Bronze level for the 2016 National Solo Dance Final, will compete as a Novice man at Challenge Skate. SCSF wishes them both a wonderful experience at Challenge Skate!

Help welcome in the new Board! RSVP now for The Skating Club of San Francisco's Annual Meeting on Saturday, September 17 from 2:30 to 5:00 PM at the lovely home of Kevin Winston and Jeff Crandell! The agenda will include recognition of SCSF individual, pair, and dance competitors along with our Tremors and SF Ice Theatre teams for the past competition season and a send off for SCSF competitors going to Regionals and Sectionals.
