There will be Club ice on May 14, SCSF Saturday Club Ice, 5:45 AM to 7:45 AM.
SCSF offers new expanded weekly 2 hour Club sessions on Saturday mornings at Yerba Buena Ice Skating & Bowling Center for general skating practice, private lessons, and critiques upon request. These sessions will begin at 5:45 AM and conclude at 7:45 AM. Club session prices will stay the same at $7.50 per half-hour. If you are using Club Ice fairly regularly, you can purchase a punch card using cash or check. The card gives you twenty 1/2 hour sessions for $125 which works out to $6.25 per half-hour. The Board heartily encourages ALL SCSF members to skate at YBISC on Saturday mornings, and take advantage of these two hour Club sessions.
SCSF Coach Information- If you are a non YBISC staff coach and want to teach private lessons on Club ice sessions, please check out the new Guest Coach policy by clicking on the tab named Guest Coach Policy, and application form under the Download Documents menu tab on the SCSF website at www,scsf.org!
Important Events:
New Edge Class April 4 through June 3 at Yerba Buena with Coach Louis Vachon!! This Power & Edge Class gets to the core of what skating is: the organic flow of edges, power, posture and control. This is what judges adore to see and refer to as the quality of the edges. Power and Edge Class will be held Tuesdays and Thursday evenings from 6 PM to 6:30 PM, excluding May 31 and June 2. Each class is $12, or $10 if purchased with preceding 1 hour of Freestyle, and is offered on a drop-in basis. (No discounts if paying with YB VIP card,)
Minimum requirement to participate: Must have successfully passed ISI Freestyle 3 test, or testing for/passed Pre Preliminary MIF.
Maximum 25 skaters; space may be reserved up to 2-weeks in advance with non‑refundable pre‑-payment, $5 telephone fee- 415-820-3521. For more information, go to SkateBowl.com
