Plastic bag free with Boomerang Bags
Very excited to announce that Boomerang Bags are coming to Kyneton. These are hand-made / community-made shopping bags to replace plastic. As they use recycled fabric, this is a really sustainable choice.

First meeting to get this going will be on Wednesday 15th March at 7 pm at the Kyneton Community & Learning Centre. Anyone with any interest at all is invited to come along.

If you can't make it or would like to find out more before the meeting have a look at the Boomerang Bags website, facebook page or join the community facebook group.

This is a joint project with the Kyneton Community & Learning Centre.
Community Produce Swap - this weekend
February's Produce Swap Table at the Kyneton Farmers' Market was huge with a great variety and quantity of produce. We also had the opportunity to talk to some first-time swappers and welcome some new people to the Kyneton area.

This Saturday's March market is also likely to be a big one with reports of excess in local gardens. We also do swaps of egg cartons, seedlings, seeds and cuttings.

Bring your produce along on the second Saturday of the month to the Kyneton Farmers’ Market or just drop in for a chat about what's going on around Kyneton and especially in our gardens.

The fair is on at the Kyneton Racecourse from 10 to 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday 11 & 12th March. It is usually much easier to enter if you have pre-booked your tickets online.

More details and tickets from their website.
