April review

Well, April was a fun month - with shows at Nambucca and the Green Note, and, if you received our previous newsletter, you will also have seen that we were very excited to be performing live at the Loose Ends show on BBC Radio 4.

It was interesting to get an inside view of how they do things at the BBC and humbling to play in the same room as all the guests - Matt Lucas, Paul Nicholas, Jon Holmes, Carol Morley, Peter Curran, Michele Stodart, and Gilles Peterson:


We got to play our single, The Colour, and it was so lovely to get some positive feedback from the guests and listeners - thank you everyone who listened in!

May shows

Ok, "shows" is a little misleading as only one this month... but it's a free one at The Gladstone plus they always have nice pies & ale, which is part of the reason we like playing there!
