Remote Learning Virtual Forum Tomorrow @6pm, Updated Reopening Guidance, and Chicago BACP Small Business E-Expo

Please join me tomorrow, Wednesday Sept. 30th at 6 p.m. for a special virtual event co-hosted with Majority Leader Greg Harris on remote learning in the age of COVID-19. Special guests include Principal Patrina Singleton from Breneman Elementary; Social Worker Jakub Faron & Counselor Olivia Haas from Courtenay Language Arts Center; and Cassandra Kaczocha from Illinois Raise Your Hand.

Tomorrow: "Remote Learning: Best Practices" Virtual Forum

Updated Reopening Guidance from the City of Chicago

Mayor Lori Lightfoot announced new reopening guidelines in a press conference earlier this week, citing a lowered daily COVID-19 case rate as the rationale for easing citywide restrictions.

Final Neighborhood Cleanup Event of the year sponsored by ELVN, The Cubs, and The Chicago Parks Foundation

" The Neighborhood Grounds Crew will get together one final time for the season on Saturday October 3, 2020 from 9:30-11:30 a.m.  The details are below.  If you plan to attend and you have not already sent an RSVP to the Cubs, please send one to Michael Zink at mizink9@hotmail.com with the names of any friends or family members who will join you.  Thank you as always to the Cubs for their work in organizing the event!
