Were you there for my first Facebook Live about your daily blogging habits? Here’s a link to the replay. BONUS: Check out the description box for links to my best blog writing tools.
The plan was to turn the content from the video into a new blog post. That’s still the plan, but I’m taking some time off this week for personal reasons so watch for that post next week.
In the meantime, thanks to all who’ve taken the time to watch and “like” the video, leave comments, or email me personally with your feedback. Here are the lab notes from my Facebook Live blogging experiment:
Keep doing these regularly
Try my iPhone earphones instead of the lavalier mic I used (the sound was low)
Film with something more interesting behind me (I chose the location in order to face a window and have good lighting, but I think I found another area that will work)
Frame myself to be higher on the screen
Have patience if fewer people attend live because people WILL watch the video after the fact (there were 121 views as of Tuesday morning)
Remember to launch the video from my Content Mastery Guide page Facebook page instead of from my personal profile (oops!)
Stay tuned for the post and an invite to my next Facebook Live. I’m already outlining a topic and this time it’s a brand new subject I haven’t written about before. I’m eager to see how it takes shape when I talk first and then write.
