God is Faithful
As we continue to move through the up and down cycles of news, COVID, and unrest we can rest assured that God is Faithful.  It may seem that the world around us is out of control, but God is in control. He has been from the beginning and continues to be in control today.  The question is not His faithfulness, but our lack of faith.  As we continue week after week, month after month through this trying time in history, we need only look back a little to see God has always been at work for His purpose.  We can see new evidence of His faithfulness as Missions Ministries continues forward in the colonias of Juarez.

Psalms 119:90 "Your  faithfulness endures to all generations;  you have established the earth, and it  stands fast."
God bless you,

Sponsor a Student Program
Sponsorships for students have been steadily coming in for a school year that is yet to be determined.  In faith, Missions Ministries is moving forward preparing for the 2020-2021 school year.  Tuition still needs to be paid, uniforms purchased, and school supplies collected for the new year as though it will kick off in August as usual.  Our prayer for the students is that they can return to some social interaction in an appropriate, controlled manner in school.   Thank you to all who have already sent in your sponsorship.

for our World.

for God's protection for staff, pastors, and those in the colonias during this time of uncertainty.

for the staff, that their hearts would be open to minister to their community.

for the pastors that they can find unique ways to reach those in their church and community.

that during this time of "change" from the routine that Jesus would be made known to  those who don't know him as their Lord and Savior.

pray for the planning, preparation, and patience as we try to figure out what ministry looks like in a COVID world.

Alvaro Flores (better known as "Alvarito" or "Abuelo") is the staff leader of the guards and has worked at Missions Ministries for 16 years. He and his wife Martina have four children-- Fernando, Ivan, Sara, and Caleb-- and nine grandchildren. "I love serving in this ministry and in this community, doing my best in all I do as if I am doing it for God. This ministry is of God and that's why I do my job with all my heart," he says. In his free time, Alvarito enjoys listening to Christian music, playing guitar and bass guitar, and doing whatever needs to be done around the house. Alvarito is a beloved member of our team and we are thankful for his example.
