Your partnership is vital!
Part of what makes a trip to Mexico great is building relationships. Bonding with your teammates, working side by side with the staff, and getting to know the families, children, and churches brings joy and renewal In just a few days, amidst the work, bonds are built that last a lifetime.
The Bible gives many examples of how important it is for us to build relationships, fellowship, be in partnership as we walk life together. Ecclesiastes 4:9 (NIV) “
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor.” These words are lived out through your actions as you partner with Missions Ministries. Whether it is raising funds, loading a trailer, or lifting a wall, working together makes it possible.
However, the times have made it difficult for those wonderful face to face interactions. Surely your heart desires to be in Mexico working side by side with the families and staff. It is on their hearts too. Juan, Leo, and Susy have all voiced their hope and desire that teams will return soon.
And in this time what can we do? Continue in partnership and pray!
Matthw 18:18-20 NIV 18
“Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.19
“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
We are in uncertain times. Each day brings new challenges. Yet, God is in control.
Thank you for your partnership. Without “two or three gathering” the work would not get done.
