Twisted 15.4 Released
The latest version of Twisted, 15.4, codenamed "Trail By Fire" has been released! Includes new Python3 support, support for some EOL platforms has been removed , Twisted now has moved to setuptools for installation and much more.

pyparallel
An experimental multicore fork of Python 3. This is proof-of-concept fork of Python 3.3.5 designed to optimally exploit contemporary hardware: multiple CPU cores, fast SSDs, NUMA architectures, and fast I/O channels (10GbE, Thunderbolt, etc). The idea is to remove the limitations of the GIL without actually removing the GIL. This is definitely worth keeping an eye on.
