Student Exchange in Spain Opportunity in July

Interested in living in Spain for the month of July and making a new friend? This opportunity is too good to pass up! It would be ideal for a younger single female.  In short, a young professional named Claudia that is wanting to come practice English would come and stay with you at your house/room for the month of July and you would go stay with her and her family in Spain for the month of August (or viceversa).

Name: Claudia

Profession: journalism student

Lives in: Asturias (Spain)

Exchange: July-August

Offer: She offers her house, food, and a Spanish immersion course with her and her family for a month.
What she expects: The same thing, in English, here in Nashville.

What is the perfect fit for her?: A female between the ages of 18 and 25 years old with a passion for learning Spanish!

Interested? contact Pedro at pedroslwed@gmail.com

Search for Books in Spanish at Nashville Public Library

One of the very best ways to bolster and reinforce your vocabulary and improve your level is through reading (beginners-advanced). Did you know that you can search for a list of books and novels that are written in Spanish on the Nashville Public Library website? ¡Es fácil!

Step 1: Sign in to your library account (in English or there is a Spanish option too!).

Step 2: Click on Advanced Search.

Step 3: When you click on Advanced Search and scroll down, select Spanish under Language and then under literary form you can select Novels. For some reason this still pulls up some children's books, but if you look at the list of subjects on the left hand side of the page (you can click on More to get a full list) you can pinpoint more adult topics to weed those out.
