Today's offering is about Ethiopian Honey.
Ethiopia is one of the main honey producing countries in Africa. This 2014 documentary, Honeys of Ethiopia, takes a look at some of the special honeys that are produced in different regions of the country. The film promotes the Honey Network: a network of beekeepers and farmers that, through specific educational training, improvements in marketing and preservation of traditions, are becoming key figures in the local market.
The documentary is a Tripodphoto production, made possible thanks to the support of Regione Emilia-Romagna and the help of Parma per gli altri, Modena per gli altri, Slow Food and Conapi.

Here's a link to a nice twelve page Honeys of Ethiopia pdf document produced by the same groups that made the film. It contains descriptions of 11 different honeys produced by the different groups of beekeepers that they are supporting.
