During the 70s and 80s Jonathan Dimbleby produced many reports on Ethiopia for This Week, a weekly current affairs television programme that was produced for ITV by Thames Television:

The Emergency is Now Permanent, 1988

In 1998 he returned to Ethiopia to document the changes that had taken place since his last visit 10 years previously.

Jonathan Dimbleby wrote a piece for the Independent newspaper about making the programme - Feeding on Ethiopia's Famine, which is well worth reading.
