Another two Ethiopia related online events have been advertised for January 2022.

Thursday 13 January, 20:00-21:00 GMT - Ethiopia's Ongoing Civil War by the World Affairs Council (Seattle). Standard ticket cost $15 (students $5).
Ethiopia is embroiled in a year long civil war. Both Ethiopia's federal government and the Tigray People's Liberation Front, the former ruling party, accuse each other of severe human rights violations. With no clear end of the conflict in sight, the fighting has so far left thousands dead and displaced more than 2 million people. How did this civil war unfold and where is it headed? Is there a political solution?
Join the World Affairs Council (Seattle) for a conversation with Ethiopia experts Yohannes Woldemariam and Ann Fitz-Gerald as they discuss their very different perspectives on the situation in Ethiopia.
