Editorial Update
Dear readers,
Last month, we received some great news from Romania – a young independent living activist, Raluca Popescu, was elected as a local councillor in her home town Timisoara. ENIL did an interview with her, which you can read in this newsletter.
Below, you can also find more news coming from the youth – ENIL’s volunteer Kamil Goungor attended the Tranzit Seminar, organized by the Council of Europe, contributing to the transition to adulthood debate.
Don’t miss the news about ENIL’s new research on the implementation of Article 19 of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). The research will seek to support the work of the CRPD Committee on a General Comment on Article 19 and your contribution is welcome!
