Welcome to the first edition of ENIL’s Newsletter for 2017!

In the first article below Jamie Bolling, ENIL Executive Director, greets you for the beginning of the new year and gives an overview of the ENIL activities from 2016, as well as what to expect in 2017!

ENIL and the European Disability Forum have created a survey collecting good practices on Independent Living. Your contribution will be highly appreciated!!

Iulia Danila – ENIL Youth Network member from Romania – was part of the ENIL Youth Leadership Program in 2016. In her article, she tells us about her deep impressions from the one-week study visit in the UK.

ENIL-EDF Survey on Independent Living

ENIL, in cooperation with the European Disability Forum (EDF), is working on a good practice collection on Independent Living. For the purpose, we have put together a survey, which we invite you to complete.

On 19 December, ENIL’s Policy Officer Ines Bulic took part in a roundtable on deinstitutionalisation in Bratislava, Slovakia. The aim of the roundtable was to discuss strategies on how to accelerate the reforms in the country, which had stalled in the past years.
