This Week
It's hard to believe that there are just three market Saturdays left in the 2016 season. It seems like yesterday that radishes were a highlight of the HFM in May and we were sharing a recipe for radish sandwiches. Lots of radishes, still, at the market along with a good selection of produce - thanks to a warm fall.
     On Saturday,
All Paws In, a 4-H club for boys and girls who love their animals, want to learn more about good pet care and stewardship and help the local animal shelters through active volunteerism and pet supply drives, will visit the market. The group meets at the Weir Farm and is currently accepting
new members. If your child(ren) loves animals, make sure to stop by on Saturday.
     Kudos to
Judy White, winner of this year's contest for best Halloween costume (see photo below), as voted on by market-goers.
