This Week - Yikes!

It's that time again and if you are hosting Thanksgiving (or even if you're not), you will want to order your turkey from HFM vendor Copicut Farms. It's easy: just visit them at their stand and place your order for a small, medium or large turkey ($5.69/lb., $35 deposit). Pick up is Sunday, November 20, 1 to 3 p.m., at the Hingham Bathing Beach (HFM parking lot). If you can't make it to the market to order a turkey, go to their site at and visit the online store. The turkeys from Copicut Farms are the best tasting turkeys around.
On Saturday we welcome the artists from the South Shore Art Center. This visit they will be hosting a "Make and Take" painting activity for all ages from 1 to 3 p.m. Using the colorful displays of the market's fall bounty, participants will draw and paint from observation.
The South Shore Art Center is a non-profit organization based in Cohasset. The facility includes galleries and teaching studios; they offer exhibitions and gallery programs; sales of fine arts and studio crafts; courses and work-shops; and outreach to schools and special events. For more information, visit their site:
