This Week at the HFM Actually, last Saturday was Kids' Day at the Hingham Farmers Market. As one notes from the above photo, the day did not disappoint and everyone - of all ages - had a fun time.
Many thanks to Sarah Schiller, Charlotte Marshall and Marta Adams Bush for their outstanding face-painting skills.
This week, our friends from Whole Foods will visit the CS&E tent. Stop by and say hello to a wonderful group of people who support not only the Hingham Farmers Market but many other groups from around the South Shore.

Opening the Market
Julie Manning of C&C Lobsters and Fish of Hull opened last week's market. C&C is a family-run lobster business providing fresh caught local live lobsters and fish year round. Chris and Carolyn Manning and their four children are involved in all aspects of the lobster business. Chris has been a full-time lobsterman since 1982; Chris and his brother-in-law go out daily to haul a portion of their 800 traps. All the fresh caught lobsters are landed at their home dock in Hull; the fresh lobsters are then delivered to local restaurants, sold at farmers markets and to their valued customers. Also offered is the freshest caught fish one could possibly find; the fish is caught daily (local when available), cut fresh, and picked up the morning of the market. Pre-ordered lobster and fish are delivered to customers daily to their home, work or predetermined site. For more information, please call 781-925-3842 or email us at email@example.com.
More Market Seen on Kids' Day
It was all kids, all the time last week at Kids' Day. Max Schiller proclaims Mandy's chowder "the best chowah ever;" Sarah Schiller takes a break from painting faces; Sadie DePina of Pembroke really was much happier when her whole face was painted.
Lee Forker of Hingham holds on to his Billy Bucks, won during the annual HFM Billy Bucks raffle in mid August.
