Coming Up @ FH
As restrictions around the province ease, we wanted to let you know a few things about joining us Sunday mornings in person:
  • Capacity limits have lifted
  • Registration is no longer required (Kidsmin check-in remains to keep our kids safe)
  • Sit as close or as far from others as you (and they) feel comfortable
  •  Masks are still required until March 21, as per government and hotel requirements
At Freedom House we still have two rules... 1. Love God 2. Love People... The rest is gravy ;) Let's keep living this way, being a blessing to each other and inviting others to do the same.

Please note we are also still committed to providing and improving online options for our Sunday service and other gatherings where possible.
Next Sunday, March 20 we're going to join together for lunch after service at Myra's. Not only is this a great opportunity to socialize with each other, but also to bless the Hotel and their staff. If you are planning to stay for lunch, please let Erin know so the restaurant can prepare for us coming. They are even going to do some Freedom House specials for us!
Our Sunday & Tuesday Small Groups are back to meeting in person! These groups also have online options to join and our Wednesday Small Group is exclusively online. Let us know here if you'd like to join or host a small group, or have any questions related to small groups.
Sunday Service Recap
Dave launched our new series The Wonder League on Sunday. Over the next few weeks we'll be taking a look at different people from the Bible and how the God of Wonders showed up in their story. As our theme verse for the year says in Psalm 72, "may the earth overflow with His glory. Faithful is our King! Amen!" These people from the Bible, and His people today, have the opportunity to be conduits for God's glory and wonder. The first people character we looked at this week was Job. Through Job's story of refinement we see that God is faithful and regardless of the situation we face, we can say "blessed be the name of the Lord". As Isaiah 61 says the Lord wants to "bestow on us a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair."
Weekly
Prayer Items
- Take time this week to read Job and ask God what lessons He'd like to teach you about His wonder from this story of refinement.
- For the Lord to help us be ministers of His Light and reconciliation in all the different situations we know of at the moment.
- Ukraine and Russia.
- Ontario as restrictions continue to ease. Continue to pray for health, healing for those currently with or have had covid. Unity among friends, families and strangers alike as we enter a new season of differing feelings and opinions about the restrictions ending.
- Provision as prices of gas and many other things continue to rise.
- The Beattie Family while on sabbatical
